Hello Forum/Guys.. :)

As we all know, Jimmy is a big Gina Collector.
Jimmy's New Ginacue.
Pretty yea.. :)
I made this Snakewood Spinner Cue Cap for Jimmy's Gina.
You can spin that Snakewood "Cage"..

If you are a machinist, think of how you would make this..
That Body is like a "Fragile Snakewood Cage".
Look how thin the partitions are..
To think, after all that inlays and previous work,
you got to "hold and machine out" those Hour Glass Shapes.
And, not only once, but, 6 times. :frown:

I often wonder, with all the talent in the World today,
why is there no one making these types of JP's?
Why do people come to me, when I am retired?

Jimmy asked the Az members if anyone can make him his Gina Caps.
No one replies.. Why?

Jimmy messages me.

Thank You Jimmy.
Thanks guys, for viewing..
Alton :)

That is pretty cool TCC, I didn't know that.

Alton, you do beautiful work, I have always wondered why there wasn't more people doing these fancy type cue caps. I figure people need a good teacher like you, to be honest.

How do they move exactly, ball bearings, a groove in which they rotate? I couldn't build this if a gun was to my head.

Spinners.

Snooker T, That's funny!!
The Spinners..
I did have a small Ball Bearing but, it was too much work.
But, it could be done.. :grin-square:
It spins freely over a slightly smaller Inner Sleeve Diameter.
The surfaces are smooth and Polished for minimum Friction.
The corners/inner edges are radius-ed to prevent Drag.

About Crowns..
1) Always be aware of the tips scratching the Pool Table cloth.
2) Do not let your friends touch the cue or crown caps..
3) Like in life, anytime you lose control, you are vulnerable to trouble.
I had guys who's friends cracked their crowns.

4)n Do not try and tighten the crowns to try and align the rings.
The threads only can be torqued "so much",
before you crack the piece or break the glue bonds.

:)
