They might not interest everyone but I am still enamored by vintage cues or modern cues made in the classic styles of the 1960s sucuh as Tascarellas, Szambotis, and others.

Attached pic is of three First Catalog era Palmers.

Great mix of vintage Palmer cues. My two were late 60s and early 70s. Thanks for showing these.

All the best,
WW

Gotta love the old ones.

I really dig the very old antiques, but am interested in 60s, 70s, and into the 80's as well.

Here we have Palmer, Palmer, Joss, Gandy. Yes, a Gandy ebony Titlist conversion.

There is a lot going on in this pic. Ebony Titlist, brown KU bumper, Szam forearm, nickel silver joint collar, Cortland linen, etc....

The far right us a Huebler H-14, vertical logo. Very unusual thin veneers. Every other one I have found has much thicker veneers. Points and veneers on this cue are amazingly well done and razor sharp.

I have three original shafts for it, one 29 inch, two 31 inch, plus original Huebler JPs and the Huebler Deluxe case. Seriously great playing cue.

The Gandy is one of my treasures. Very rare in ebony (never saw another).

I am currently on the hunt for Gandy cues.

Some Gandy Candy. Vinyl veneers. Smooth leather wraps. Same design in both cues.

Top cue very early, maybe National, alumnimun inserts, four points. Same design as lower cue which has original label plus Gandy in a window, brass inserts, vinyl veneers, three points.

Siblings.

So the cue with the vinyl points in the first pic is a Joss(middle cue)? And a three point?

Those points look just like one of my Viking three point cues, maybe a different color combo.

I think the three point vinyl veneers have been discussed here before but I cant remember if they were made by someone and used as forearm blanks for a few cue makers?

The Joss is not vinyl veneers. It is a four point with dyed wood veneers. Outside in: Black, light green, yellow, green.

These are the veneers on that Joss.

You can't see any glue between the veneers and the miters are invisible. Darn nice points. Hard to find any better.

Find a Joss with Vinyl veneers and I will want to buy it.

You're the man! I can't trust my eyes anymore. Those colors are so vivid they looked plastic-esk in the first pics. I have a few surprises of my own I will try and show pics of some recent acquisitions this weekend. Thanks for sharing pics of these treasures.

I look forward to it.

Here is another shot of those Joss points with a modern Joss butt, my Huebler H-14...and a rack from my local pool hall, the Cue Note.

Yes, the veneers really pop on it. That's what you saw in that first pic.
