Hot out of the finish room. This was designed by a Texas customer.
Thanks to Jim at wildwoods for the double dyed maple burl handle, it really ties in the veneer colors perfectly. Of course wouldn't have the veneers if it wasn't for Martin at western cue.

All white is ivory, silver is pure. Hard to see in the photo's, but the ivory ring dashes are outlined in Royal Purple.
Ivory flat faced 3/8-10 large inner diameter pin. Customer had some other shafts he wanted to be able to swap around.
Thanks for looking

Another awesome cue, Steve! When I'm back up on top of your list again, I think we'll be doing a fancy ebony and ivory cue this time around. And we used to think you just did sneakies :D ...

very interesting.. the double dye looks great!
hmm i got a question, is it possible to double dye all sorts of wood?
or only some? as in does the stablility affect the number of dyes the wood can take?

I'm not sure, probably best asked of Jim at Wildwoods.

I too wrestled with the idea of going with a lizard or leather-type wrap, but for some reason I prefer wrapless cues. Plus, I always wanted a cue made with Wild Wood; so, needless to say, this cue crafted by Steve will be my fourth wrapless cue.
