I've got a Russ Espiritu Cue that needs a new home.
1. Russ Espiritu.
Signed and dated: 1996
Four point Paduak into stained BEM.
Paduak butt with BEM inlays.
5/16x14 Piloted stainless steel joint.
Silver surrounded by light brown/amber linen phenolic rings A - E.
Black w/ walnut spec. linen wrap.
Length 58"
Butt 15.3 oz.
19 3/4" balance point.
Shaft 4.2oz.
12.7mm.
Sniper Tip.
Full disclosure: Cue rolls straight together and apart, but there is a little bit of lift in the butt at the butt sleeve. It doesn't wobble or hop.
I've played a few more hours with this cue since it's original posting. The cue has picked up a scratch on the clear coat near the base of the shaft. Just under a 1 1/2" long. Typical of catching a cast pocket molding.
Original asking $500 when the thread was posted.
$385 Cash
When I first got this one I liked it so much I thought I'd keep it for a while. Sent it out to have it refinished last more than a year ago. Great balance, great feedback, moves the cue ball around effortlessly. It's a fantastic player and a very pretty looking cue.
It has almost 24 hours of play since the refinish.
Anwar LD Shaft.
Engraved: Anwar.
5/16x14 piloted
Silver ring in Black Phenolic
Weight: 4.3 oz
Length: 29 1/4"
Tip 12.9mm
Hard Layered, unknown brand.
Straight.
$100
2nd Cue was Sold.
All prices are shipped.
I'll deal the Anwar shaft into the cue for $75.
Feel free to PM me realistic offers or for more pics and info.
Cheers.
Eric
