Yes, the Premium set uses a better quality phenolic resin that is much less prone to leaving burn marks on the table.

I personally don’t like the look of the Aramith premium ball set. Something about them just looks different and somewhat tacky to me.

Spend the very few buck$ more, Premium.
Next time you're at that store, take 2 balls of each and drop one on another.
Start with the Premier, feel it, listen to it then the same for Premium.
Notice the difference? If not the Premium's bounce more & have a crisper click.
