thought id share this, the set is available it looks like
Well it’s finally here.....
The Fire and Ice set
After binge watching GOT last year I got inspired to build a fire and ice set of cues in my style .... which meant burls.....
Had a large billet or super nice buckeye burl and decided to go for it.....
The buck eye burl is very figured and matching being from the same block... the fire cue was dyed and stabilized in orange while the ice cue was dyed and stabilized in a cool cold blue color....

The fire cue - aka the player
Orange dyed and stabilized buckeye burl cored with Purple Heart for stiffness and stability
African black wood for the handle with a matching orange burl butt sleeve...
Silver , black and orange rings at all positions
The player will come with a Noire carbon fiber shaft (12.4 mm pro taper , max 30” long) as well as a reserve maple shaft that I recommend being left at 13 mm and 30” long.... unless otherwise requested...
Cue specks butt only -
30.5” long
15.5 oz - weight is not adjustable FYI ( 19 oz with a cf shaft , 19.5 oz with a maple shaft )
3/8x10 black g10 pin

The ice cue - aka the breaker
Dyed and stabilized buckeye burl cored with maple for strength , weight and stability
African black wood handle and butt sleeve that’s super figured ..... from a distance it looks black .... get close and you will see tons of crazy figure...
The cue is a little shorter at 30” and skinnier as a well as the forearm has a straight taper for about 8” then increases to a butt diameter of 1.2”.
This was done to lighten up the breaker due to the heavier shaft that it will have....
Matching rings at all positions comprised of silver black and baby blue...
Breaker will come with a black resin infused laminated break shaft that’s the same as the ones featured in all my break cue.....
Cue specks - butt only
30” long
3/8x10 SS pin
13.5 oz adjustable up ( 19 ish oz with the break shaft)

So in conclusion here is another concept that I’m happy do bring to fruition.....
