Browns steelers fight -

Garrett’s reaction was unacceptable, but Rudolph started it by ripping at Garret’s helmet first. On the replays, while they are on the ground, you can see the QB yank Garret’s helmet up far enough that Garrett’s ears show. I bet it was painful and probably pulled his hair. This is why Garrett went after Rudolph’s helmet. It was an angry reaction. Nobody seems to notice that. Garrett was way in the wrong, but Rudolph started it with the chickenshit snatch at Garret’s helmet.

Garret's original hit was borderline late (after the pass), then he stuck it out on the ground. I see Rudolph's reaction as no worse than is typical at the bottom of a scrum. You see these guys pushing punching jabbing and grabbing all the time in post-tackle action. Garrets escalation was outrageous.

I agree. When it escalates to that level, it becomes a case of assault. Criminal charges should be filed IMO.

I read that the 'fines' from the NFL will be 6-figures.....
If you tolerate this, then your children will be next.
I have never quoted someone in my signature....but I found such a shallow, idiotic, and inane comment like this worthy!

It was ridiculous, the game was all but over. Rudolph, should be fined. Garret should be banned at least for the remainder of the season and fined. There, I said it.
And the guy that kicked the guy while he was down, suspend him as well.
... you win some, you lose some, but nothing beats getting some!

Yes. $250k for both him and the Browns. I'm sure he won't even notice it after signing a $30 mil - 4/yr contract in 2017

Indefinite suspension for Garrett, the remainder of the year minimum.
More to come so Rudolf (and others) may yet be fined.

Suspended without pay indefinitely ... $250K will hurt, especially if his appeal doesn't reduce the "indefinitely" part.

Just ban the NFL.
In this day and age, who in the hell even wants to watch fat, sweaty dudes, mostly thugs, rolling on the ground with each other anyway?
