Old timers from before Johnston City - 11-13-2013, 10:07 AM

Before Johnston City there was an action area on the Arkansas/Missouri line that was wide open for anything with a lot of pool action. This was just outside of Holland MO and Blytheville AR. Do any of 6the old timers here have any stories about things back then?

The only player I knew from the Johnson City era who could tell me that one is Marty Kamen / Omaha Fats, and he has long passed...RIP
Back in the 60's Marty used to play us kids one handed for 50-cents a game, late night at Celebrity Sports Center in Denver.
I still have Marty's old 1x2 Viking case.

player.....Josswest, Gus Szamboti, Paul Drexler, Schon
player.....Keith Josey, Judd, Palmer, Ernie Martinez, Jensen
player.....Richard Black, Tim Scruggs, Pat Diveney, South West
breaker...Judd Fuller
jumper....see breaker
shooter...Sig Sauer P226 357

I bet somebody from onepocket.org forum will know. There are a lot of seasoned veterans who post there.
