All my cues are 3/8x10. Not gunna change that. I've heard good things about the mezz shaft. I'll have to ask my friend is she still has hers as she sported as mezz for a while. She just switched to obcues. I think she has her face on the website(shameless plug)

I'm not sure I can justify spending $250 bucks on a shaft, I don't care what it is. Even then its hit and miss. You folks have given me some great options and I thank for that.

Not sure exactly what do you mean by feel, i assume sound, and the solid maple hit associated with hard wood, which is extremely HD (high squirt) shafts, LD has to be made from lighter weight wood therefore, you will not feel the solid hit. It is more critical to run balls than how cue feel IMO.

What you are saying is false. While there is certainly differences in wood density from board to board hard Maple is still hard Maple whether it is making a standard one piece shaft or a laminated LD shaft.
