Russian Magic chalk is the nuts.
Its so good my last and only cube was stolen off the table when I went to the bath room.
They left my $1000 cue but stole my chalk, how strong is that?

for all the guys hating on Kamui, please buy from authorized Kamui dealers - I think some have been using counterfeits and understandably not liking them.

1. Kamui black soft

2. Pressed & soaked Elkmasters (Pooldawg8 Milkduds)

3. Triangles

The first gen Moori Mediums were fantastic tips but unfortunately no longer available.

best,
brian kc

Just in case this helps. Not planning into getting into a long discussion here. I don't get on the web site that often. A couple of years ago I researched tip hardness ratings using published information on the web. The Kamui super softs run about 57.5 on the hardness scale, the softs about 62. The Elk Master runs about 60. I have a Kamui black super soft clear on my Helmstetter (factory reproduction not an original -- darn it) and an Elk Master on my $69 Sneaky Pete. While the Helmstetter is the better playing cue, most likely due to the Bob Danielson shaft I have for it, I really can't tell much difference in the way the tips handle the cue ball. The Elk Master is more prone to mushrooming but it's also about $45 less than the Kamui where I play.
