i do not ever buy without a price ,myself

but it is my understanding that it it is his right to do so

it is not AZ policy for me to knock his thread
i either call him or i don't

but i should not post negatively on his thread

not sure what post exactly you are referring to but if as a seller you ask for money, already knowing what it looks like, I'd say it is fair game for the buyer to ask for pictures. I know I'd never buy a cue online without at least seeing several pictures of it. I mean, it's like 3 clicks to upload a picture.

I get not knocking a persons item they our selling but It’s not right to demand more info. Prices or pictures? Really? So you want my money for an item I can’t hold or see in person and want me to give it to you on whatever information you see fit to give me? Yeah no.. your a shitty seller if thats how you do business or treat a potentional customer .

It is good selling etiquette to not make your customers work.

Price, picture, complete item details

Without including that information, any seller is showing poor etiquette. If you want a "private sale" then make it private, not posted on a public forum.

as long as youve been selling you should be used to this by now,
people arent going to stop it

you should not expect everyone to go about buying the way you think they ought to
just because you think they should

You specifically commented on etiquette. It is poor etiquette to not post all the relevant parts of a cue sale. When you post on a public forum, you'll get questions, discourse, and opinions. Sometimes those people will post opinions on your sale post, or desire to see photos.

Oftentimes, posters on here push their opinions too far. I agree with you on that point, but you can't really say "I don't need to follow the understood rules of selling cues, but everyone else does" and expect people to just agree with that.

If this were an open-air market, and you had a card on your table that said "cue for sale, $1500" and refused to show the cue until they paid you, you would probably be fairly directly rebuked, if not just plain cussed out. Other people would hear that. If the customer took it too far, he may be asked to leave the market until he calms down.

Yep. Full disclose or bust. I do not like to be disappointed and return a cue. I would not like a cue returned to me.
