Asked Dennis Searing to build a shaft for my Gus so I could leave the two originals alone. What I recieved was nothing short of spectacular.
He used the same original phenolic and materials Gus used so it would match exact. Since he didnt have the butt, he made the pilot just about a thousandth oversized and inluded a pilot care pack so I could custom fit it to the cue. It now has a perfect compression fit. He even inlaid an incredibly tiny silver "S" in one of the white blocks in the ringwork. All of that said and the best part is how it hits. All I can say is Dennis knows what he's doing.
