Ripping off the Beginners, what next
How low will he go ? I have a good mind to suspend his lending privileges.
First, posting in the wrong forum, raising the price, then stealing from beginners.

I like Dean's posts, something different from the norm. Really like the way he tells a story.
Based on the sheer volume of questions he asked here, I bet the book wouldn't be half bad. He annoyed me when he was here, now that he is gone I miss his endless questions. "There is no such thing as a stupid question", will be a phrase I always associate with him.
The only guy to ever send me to the For Sale forum....for the stories.
And for the "quote" marks in the wrong places, either nO capitalization or
too Many Like This, double spaced paragraph Spacing LIKE tHis... and/or

Those junk cues play better then any Joss or Peschauer I ever tried��
They are inexpensive production cues.

i got to play with it and i liked it
i tried to buy some extra shafts and fiber ferrules
someone sold me a mixed bag for around $400
So i decided to sell a few
i really liked the Orange County Cue
These cues play really good,in spite of everything else
Then you guys explained to me that I was overcharging,Jackpot even threatens to
quit borrowing my cues
I am having a hard time adjusting to life in the fast lane on Az
If I were not really happy with my cues
and playing with 2 of them I would like to give the others to a worthy cause
I lay 10 to 1 that Jackpot will volunteer his worthy cause so I am boxing up two or
three to send him if he apologizes for hurting my feeling
Jack needs sensitivity classes
pt 109 deserves one of these cues for free just to review them
did I miss anyone/

I'm sure they play better than a Pechauer, but the ones I used at a resort in Carefree, Arizona were all falling apart, total crap.
I've actually had phone calls about this issue, and the concern is that new buyers will buy one of these overpriced imports thinking they are getting a real McDermott cue.
I told people to forget it, don't hijack the thread, but here I am.
In 2012 when my team won the regional VNEA team tournament on the last day one of the sales booths was selling out their McDermott Lucky cues for 50% off, $40 total.
We all bought one.
Then I noticed on the factory sticker it said $39
I looked on Ebay and sure enough, the same cue was $39 SHIPPED.
I've had to scrape people off the ceiling over this Star McDermott cue deal
Well, a real McDermott with a lifetime warranty starts at $89
These don't have that warranty

Szamboti has no warranty,nor did Balabushka or South West Cues for that matter

This is having heart. It's easy to lower a price or give a volume discount. Having heart is raising the price.

I've known Dean a long time and all this negative talk is aggravating him.
If it doesn't stop he may INCREASE his prices again. Now I know that it
may not matter to some people but , others might not be able to afford it.
I have to admit when I read about those beginners losing money it hit a
nerve, and I wrote things I shouldn't have,but when Dean explained to me
it's not his fault they're beginners, they should have started playing
sooner and they wouldn't be beginners now, I understood. I just want to
say, and I know I speak for a lot of AZers we're sorry.
