No electricity at my house.

My stick is seeing its case for the first time in months and I am carrying it to the pool room.

What am I gonna do there?

Walk in and loudly proclaim yourself as the Minnesota state champion, find a practice table, then proceed to never make more than three balls in a row.

I saw a Billy, a Chris and a rob.

Roy even mad an e-ppearance, from the basement.

And I saw people gambling. At pool, no less.

Still no power at my house.

Once everyone hears the Schwinn Man has entered the bldg, its game on.

You`ll have enough cabbage to buy new Hampsters, so your power wont go out again.

Been thinking of buying a generator and having it installed so it comes on automatically.

Anyone with any experience with that?

Get a One Pocket game with some old guy... you
won't notice a couple of days have gone by, and
by that time your power will be back up... the
downside is there'll be about $300 in table time

i live in florida ie hurricanes are always a concern
having been thru several (including andrew, frances and jean)
i have a portable generator
with a box wired to the house to hook up to when needed
i need to have gas to run it and it will not run the wole house at the same time
but i can run the fridge/hot water tank/ a/c etc consecutively
the generators that have a gas tank built into the ground and come on automatically are more expensive but definitely the best option

My wife and I looked into a hardwired generator and we have an hvac friend who owns company that does sales/ installs.

He said:
Dont waste your money...unless you/ yours have medical needs that cant endure an outage, or you/ yours cant evacuate or temporarily relocate.

Worked for me!

Iirc, we were looking at 8-15k, plus a concrete pad to set it on
