My name will be placed in nomination to be a local pool league
officer for about 16 teams. Specifically Treasurer. This includes
recording match results, collecting and depositing money,
distributing weekly results and generally applying process. This is a
bonded and compensated position.

I have general management experience and have played in this
league a number of years. The prior Treasurer is retiring out of town.

Just a tip....

If you end up in debt and cant pay the bills....borrowing more money is NOT a good idea.

League treasurer

This position needs to be addressed with respect.

You are messin" with peoples money and everything must be above board and very transparent. There are a lot of ways to screw up.

It is really important that you and the players both understand the jobs description and responsibilities.

If you need better info, you might contact our office (BCAPL) for further info- but that is mostly for leagues affiliated with our programs.
