Hi.
I´ve been trying to get little better on 14.1 lately and yesterday I had really nice evening session where I ran 5 runs with over 50 ball average.
That gave me confidence to try to make "how to run racks on 14.1" Livestream.

I did it last night and it went quite nicely. I ran 103 on first try.
Here is link to recorded livestream:

Actual run starts around 9:50 mark.
I talk about half ball aiming and speed control and break shots a lot. So run is slow but educational.

Hope you enjoy!

Thanks- enjoyed! I like that table for 14.1- pockets are large enough and cut so that you can aim to either side of the pocket if needed and you can hit primary and secondary break shots with confidence that the pockets will accept that speed- also the table gives a good spread on the primary break shots.

Thanks for the commentary, I miss my Gold Crown IV up North in my in home billiard room- and playing now on some old red label Diamond Tables down here in FL. that are just horrible for 14.1- a 30 ball run on those is a minor miracle! The pockets reject anything that requires some decent speed to get the balls open unless the hit is beyond perfection- after a few racks the table has you completely drained of focus.

Diamonds are nice table for 14.1 IMO. Red labels are crappy, I admit.
I play on Diamonds quite seldom but I did some 14.1 practice early February and put some practice then on Diamonds.
Here is another 90 run on Diamond table and with afterwards added commentary.

Geez, I wish I could slow my game down that much and think everything through properly (I’m too impulsive). Impatient opponents would likely quit me though.

Last night I got on 14.1 practice again. I played match to 125 points against my left hand.
It was tight match and includes even little safety play.
In the end left hand made mistake on safety and right hand ran 47 and out. Then I continued run and ran 123.

This time I tried to be 3rd person sport commentator but that was hard. Commentating is not so good but I had fun and there is a bunch of crazy recovery shots included that 123. :p:p

Very nice. I especially like the attention given to recognizing halfball shots. Good stuff!
