Unfortunately, the pool industry does not support players financially to secure the "best" for the ranking system and points list. Many great players have withdrawn or just pulled back from playing in tourneys that are used as a points qualifier bc it is not worth the time, effort, and money to travel to the event. Don't get me wrong, there are great players still actively playing in these events, but overall there just is not a "competition" mode to the sport bc of the emptiness growing in the industry. So, who really goes by points and rankings, really?
