Sam was unique, but like Minnesota fats proved, the world can tolerate multiples. I found him funny at times.

How's about the diceman?!

No Dice. ADC could not do his act today.

Dice, Kinnison, Pryor, Bruce, etc. none of them could do their acts today.

I think that's exactly what Chappelle was fighting with his show. People today have been so indoctrinated by the PC culture/media that comedians are being hamstrung, so to say.

I've heard that many stand-ups these days won't do college campuses anymore because of this PC perversion, including Seinfeld, Kevin Hart, Louis Black, etc.

Very similar styles. I thought about the same level of talent.

God bless each and every one of you

Is the complaint that Chappelle has made enough cash and
has turned white?

Starting to see why you think your posts are funny.
No one is funny all the time. Chappelle had some killer skits, Sam had his moments as well. Guys like Winters, Carson, Hackett were/are icons of a different day, and they were gifted comedians.

Will he survive the whirlwind?
What amazes me, is that the original Dave Chappele, wouldn't bend over for the treatment , and now his clone won't either.
There should be a movie in that, somewhere.

We all know what we like. Winters and Carson were excellent. Hackett was okay.
Kinison obviously had his audience. JMHO.

yup.
Seems almost every T.V. show has gay men in it.
And they are kissing, calling each other honey and sweetheart etc.
I dont like it.

I stopped watching Empire because of the overt homosexuality.

Chappelle makes fun of Jussie Smollet.

Based on what several have said here, I watched the Chappelle Stick and Stones
program on Netflix. It's approximately an hour long.

He did make fun of cherished lefty issues and Jussie Smollet was the finest and
funniest bit. His audience also couldn't stop laughing. Second would be woman's
rights to choose, with a bit about also being fair to men.

As I said before the man has talent.

He even approached gun control from an ass backward view of registering all blacks
for guns. Punch line, the concept of blacks having guns was the only way to gain
gun control. Amusing but all the other bits were better.

Don't know if Chappelle has turned a corner or appreciates that a straitjacket on
humor will kill his livelihood.

I do recommend Sticks and Stones but hold on much of his earlier work.
