Why do you feel the need to emphasize this? Let me guess. Since the laws did not prevent these criminals from using these weapons, the laws are absolutely pointless and should all be repealed. Is that the gist of it?

Murder is illegal isnt it? Has that stopped people? How about drugs, rape, robbery, etc?

If everyone who was deemed competent to carry a weapon, had one strapped to them all the time, most of these bedbugs would never come outside.

I am not emphasizing anything.

I responded to a post that made reference to illegally converted weapons used in a crime of violence, which was a direct response to a post I made about lawfully purchased automatic weapons.

At this point, I will agree to disagree with you on this subject.

Law Enforcement and Military have the most gun career based firearms training.
However they still suffer from a gun related injuries and deaths.

I call them caped coats.

It's never been about stopping people from committing murder, but about making it as difficult for them as possible.

You obviously never been to a gun range with law enforcement there. They are absolutely the worst shots in the range every time.
Looks like they are using a sawed off shotgun at 30' but are using a handgun at 10 - it's awful!

How's that working out? Taking away the right of law abiding citizens to protect themselves is your answer? Not very smart.

"as difficult for them as possible"

That's the kind of language that turns honest and responsible gun owners off.

Where does the difficulty end if not absolute confiscation? It may not mean what you say, but it's what gun owners hear. We've heard it from Beto and Biden. Not sure what the other folks are thinking.
