Is that what you got out of this?

Chinahov played great until the end of the set. He straight up chocked on those shots. They were ducks. Either shot the last 2 games woukd have won it....so yeah I'm saying he isn't a top money player.

Any player that gambles enough will book some loses.

Did SVB book a 20K loss vs Ko during the CSI invitational?

SVB flew to russia thought he was stealing to only lose to Ruslan Chinahov. It was Ruslan's gaffed home table and I think they agreed to a breaking stipulation that went against Shane's normal 10b break routine.

I think there was another occasion where SVB flew to greece for a tournament and money match only to lose. It was not against Nick.

Shane gave away the 9b title vs Ko too when he couldn't close the match at the end.

But if its a 9b or 10b tournament in the US on a diamond, my money is on Shane.

I would even bet on Shane over Scott in 1p. I just really want to see it go down.

Heads. I'd bet on Scott, Tony or Alex all day against Shane playing One Pocket.

So basically it's SVB against the world. Everyone loses but SVB is usually there in the end. Who else does the US have to measure against. Frost is a 1P specialist (admittedly I don't follow all his matches) but seems he loses to top all around players in his specialty.

Some funny stuff on this thread. Both Dennis and Shane will absolutely bet their own, as long as they have money on them, which is not always the case. I've been in action with Dennis several times and every time he had his own money on the line along with mine. You won't find ONE American player, other than Shane, who will play Dennis even. And for all the One Pocket geniuses posting on here, no one is giving any weight to either Shane or Dennis, and just for the record they may not like it playing even either.

One last thing, there is not one American player, other than Shane, who could go to the Philippines and not get broke playing the top Filipinos. Even Shane has to pick his spots and he does that pretty well by now. If anyone thinks that being the top dog in the Philippines means nothing, that only tells me they know nothing about the level of pool being played over there.

Tony definitely likes playing Shane even. I'd love for Billy Incardone to weigh in on the One Pocket side since he knows Tony's speed better than most. Danny Smith plays Dennis even One Pocket. I don't remember who is up but both of them won sets so its probably the right game. I also think Dennis' One Pocket game is above Shane's but still below Alex, Efren, Scott and Tony.

PS Hung around Dennis several times now and people who keep talking about his financials are ignorant. He sends it all home most of the time but he knows he is one of the best in the world and will bet accordingly as you said.
