Our 1st edition of PoolSynergy went live today, Nov 15th. We had a couple hiccups this morning but all is well now except that one article is only viewable in Internet Explorer (we're still working on that).

PoolSynergy is a monthly collection of the best writing on pool. Each contributor, 9 this month, posts an article on the same theme on their own blog at the same time and the PoolSynergy post summarizes each one and points everyone around the web to all the contributions.

This month's theme is 'strategy'. We hope you'll take a look at the articles and provide us your feedback on what you thought of them, of PoolSynergy in general, and how we can make it better next month.

Here's the link: PoolSynergy. After you've read the articles, take a moment to vote in our poll to let us know which article you liked best.

Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

This Month's Contributors:

Writer ............................. Article Title
Samm Diep ....................... Corner vs. Side
Mike Fieldhammer .............. Strategy: Should it Change Based on Your Opponent?
Joe Waldron ..................... Offensive Safeties in 8 Ball

thank you

John, thank you for your efforts in creating this project! It's clear that you've done a lot of (well-thought out) work to organize PoolSynergy.

I think this will become a great way for more people to learn about the cool content being written by pool players and instructors alike. Even in the first issue, you can see that a variety of perspectives are represented from the world of billiards on the web.

Thanks also to the bloggers who have stepped up to the plate to contribute. Take a few minutes to check out their work on PoolSynergy, we would appreciate feedback and hope to make volume 2 even better.

Thanks!

Alison

I tried to register - but never received the email (not in spam either). Can you check that, John?

Thanks,
Dave

Dave,

You registered for an RSS feed, which will send you excerpts (and links) of articles as they are posted on my blog. This is different from registering for most websites that require a mailback confirmation of identity. Since you get no privileges by registering for the feed there's no need to confirm identity.

There is no way to register for PoolSynergy. It moves from blog to blog as the hosting duties rotate among volunteers. Next month it will be at TheTipJar, Samm Diep's blog. There will be a schedule on my blog, link in the upper right corner of every page. Or, you could just go straight to PoolSynergy Schedule.

Thanks for checking us out, we're glad you liked it. Look forward to seeing you again next month.

We're getting a lot of visitors to PoolSynergy, but not a lot of feedback. I know you guys can help us out a little here with some expert guidance. What say you?
