I would argue the use of the word amateur in the same sentence or post with a thread related to myself and any type of video or electronic/computer equipment BUT I was once told that an Expert was just a little drip under pressure.
Well.. We are all amateurs really. I mean none of us are proving ESPN quality by any stretch of the imagination. Some of us are super close, mind you! That is exactly, in the future, of what the onesitepool.com network could become.
It is much harder for many, of not all of us, to produce what we're doing and at least generate enough revenue to cover costs. A crap ton of potential revenue is being tossed out the window because there is no other avenue currently to maximize it. We are essentially forced to throw the content out for free in the hopes that it will get a million views in the hands of others who don't give a rats ass about billiards. And in the interim of that content receiving enough views for good review and compensation, are being over ran with foreign advertisements generating millions of dollars. The billiard industry isn't receiving adequate compensation for this devilish practice.
If the billiard streamers banded together, and could get over the egotistical bulls$&T, and start a treasure trove of content protected by a Network of producers and broadcasters, then we would start seeing huge added tournaments like back in the days when ESPN was around. Then the players wouldn't be sweating their winnings, sweating how their going to the next big tournament, or sweating which sponsor is going to back them.
