To the Mezz shaft experts. Two questions

Does Mezz make a joint that fits a Radial joint?
(sometimes called uni-lock radial)

https://www.seyberts.com/pins

Very interested in trying the Mezz Ex Pro on one of my cues.

Also, when Mezz says a shaft has a "Wavy Joint" what threads exactly is that?

Thanks

According to cm's , wavvy joint threads does resembles a radial but however its not.

A radial pin shaft will fit on a wavvy joint mezz but but not the other way round.
U cant put a wavvy shaft on a radial pin butt.

The other joint that have, called the united joint is actually a superior n tighter version of 5-16/14 joint.
It will fit into all 5-16/14 joint.
Good luck w yr choice

I've seen a lot with HP2 but not Ex Pro, I'd say buy a used one(cheap) and have a cuemaker change the threads or ringwork to fit your cue.

Wavy Joint is Mezz's own big pin design. Radial™ is made by Uni-Loc and is a different design all together.
Mezz makes all their shafts in Radial™ but it's a special order item. EX Pro shafts aren't available before August 2017. So your options are:
Order a EX Pro shaft now and wait.
Find a store that happens to have a Radial™ EX Pro in stock.
Buy a Wavy EX Pro shaft and have a cue maker plug and tap it for Radial™ pin.

How do they do that exactly?

How do they do that exactly?

Bore out the threads, ream at 11 or 12mm, make some light threads, insert a maple or purpleheart dowel, glue in with epoxy, let sit over night, bore the shaft insert to .312" and tap with the undersize Radial™ tap

That is some good information right there.
I think I'll just wait until the shaft is available and then order one from them with the Radial joint.

Thanks a lot for the info.
