Hi all,
Last night I was shooting at a bar and a good friend of mine let me borrow his Predator BK2 to break. I noticed that something was loose and buzzing in the cue. After tapping and shaking it up and down I narrowed it down to a loose weight bolt in the butt. This was the first time I have peered into the butt of a BK2 and I noticed that the "casing" (for lack of a better word) around the bolt is metal too. Interesting! After tightening the bolt up the buzzing went away.
One thing though, since it's a metal to metal contact stiuation won't this keep happening over and over from constant use? My BK1's bolt was epoxy'ed into its wooden grooves/threads. So this never happend to me.
Any of you BK2 owners run into this problem? Any tips I can pass along to my friend for preventative maintenance? If he sends it back to the dealer can they do anything?
