Pool School in California

I will be holding a 3-day intensive pool school August 5-7 in Fresno CA, hosted by Tommy Hill's new pool room, Blue Fin Billiards. The class is open to all students, but is geared to intermediate and advanced players. Cost for the class is $700 per student. This is about half of what some pool schools charge. Space is very limited, and we will have a student/instructor ratio of no more than 2-1, to afford plenty of one-on-one instruction. A $100 deposit will secure a spot in school for you. PM me here for more information.

Dean...I don't know Tommy's history, other than he was a pro player, now professional instructor and room owner. I kind of got the idea that Tommy Hill was a California fixture, but I could be wrong. He may chime in here and clear things up. Nice guy, and great player...now teaching his sons the game!

Dean,

Tommy is a local fellow from the Central Valley of California and he played on tour with with Keith McCready, Allison Fischer, Kim Davenport back in the late 80's & early 90's.

He is just a prince of a guy with a terrific personality and honest to a fault. When Tommy is able to squeeze in some table time with all of the business things taking place right now,
playing Tommy is like trying to ski in front of an "avalanche". You're going to get crushed by his game.....the guy is smart & plays good.

Matt B.

p.s. Arm update: resumed pool playing 10 days ago......started out hurting.....then discomfort......now just down to aches & pains.......outlook looks good......and the cues I just got are A+++.

Matt...I'm glad you're "on the mend". Hopefully you'll be back on the tables very soon! Let me know if you feel you're up to pool school in a couple of months.
