Manual pantographs and CNC milling machines either one can easily cut sharp corner inlays. Then they both can cut pockets with rounded corners.
To put a sharp corner inlay into a rounded corner pocket you can
Cut the pocket oversized and use colored filler or
Use a form tool or knife of some sort to take out the radius in the corners of the pocket so the inlay fits nice with no filler. The latter is the method I prefer.
