This is badass lol. I loved tag and smear the queer when I was little. Simple games, tag being the simplest of all of course. If you don’t know, STQ is like football but 900x better. Someone grabs the ball/stick/rock/whatever and everyone goes after them, eventually tackles them and someone has to grab the rock, knowing that the pack he was just a part of will turn on him mercilessly. Nothing builds more character.

I was just explaining STQ to my wife recently while we were watching the world cup of rugby.
Takes me back a few decades...

Duck pin bowling was on ESPN when I was in college and we’d get back from the bars. Always wanted to try that game but I guess it’s a yankee thing as I’ve never seen a lane. Looked like fun.

Sometimes I think that "pro" anything is like porn. If you can think of it, it's been done. Pro Scrabble, Pro Spelling, Pro Memorizing stuff, Pro Eating.

But really it's not just the level of skill that is odd, it's that many of those make more money for the competitors and get more news coverage than pool does. Every time some guy eats a bunch of hot dogs people are talking about it for a week. Yet we have stuff like someone breaking, even shattering, a long standing prestigious record and we get arguments if it's real or not on the forums and facebook but nothing in the "real" press.

Likewise this showed up on my feed over the summer. I’ve done it a few times, enough to know how challenging it is. And these guys are mindblowing. Like the pga, they make the absurdly ridiculous look trivial. Filthy stuff.

The jo mezz productions with the drone flyovers and shot tracers are wonderful

Its not rocket science, 626 is boring as all hell, 60 hot dogs in a minute (or whatever) is fun. The end.

This is the sport that really kills me Not only on YouTube but I saw a national championship Cornhole event on TV maybe ESPN (not sure), They show this crap but we can't get a major pool tournament on TV. The Mosconi Cup should be a natural, just like the Rider Cup. People with no understanding or love of pool would watch an event putting Europe vs USA.

I just don't get it.:shrug:

Sport Stacking, formerly called cup stacking. This has a world organization with local, regional, national and world championships each year. Basically, it consists of stacking and unstacking plastic cups in specific configurations. Fastest without any fallen cups wins. For my money, this is the king of stupid sports.
