I'm wondering if anyone else had problems with the PPV show "Beyond the Break" at worldpool.com last night. I dutifully paid my 7.95 to subscribe, went through the wickets, the screen comes on, and.....zip, nada, nuttin. Played website detective for half an hour, got nowhere and gave up in disgust. E-mailed the good folks at the site, no answer yet. I never underestimate my proclivity to screw up a bread sandwich, so maybe I'm part of the 1% that never gets the word, but I went through the DCC video stream unscathed and numerous other sites and PPV's without problem. At this stage, I would have to recommend that you not subscribe to worldpool.com; the 7.95 does not get you much (got me nothing) and the pool matches from 2004 cost 5.95 each to view/download. Ironic thing is that I subscribed primarily to support the pool community and now find that I'm playing poor man's Ralph Nader on a Sunday morning, which officially sucks. Someone rescue me so I can get my Pollyana outlook back!
