Ouch. Gotta be rough dragging around a felony at 22. What's worse is whatever follows "Whatcha in for?" Heck, can't be too much better being over 30 and apparently poorly educated.

Got about as good a chance of rehabilitating a litterbug!

OMG! That is pretty funny and I say that as someone in the car wash business!! :D

They must have had some old ass changers over there at that car wash. Most of the new style changers updated with the mars type validators will just shred the "bait" dollar and hangup without kicking out coins.

I met a guy a few weeks ago who told me he just did 2 years for this same thing. I asked him how they knew it was him and he said he did it in front of a camera they had installed. When you are dumb enough to commit a crime, knowing a camera is filming you, you are not a very bright person. Can't say about the other guys involved here, but I have known of Tedder making some big scores and he would head straight to Tunica and be broke the next day. I guess casino junkies have to get their fix and will do what ever it takes to get it.

About 10 years ago this was a very common thing for some "road players". That and robbing Coke machines. Some of the keys are universal.

There is a big surprise...

I really have no use for him. I was at DCC and he was doing his nitty routine that the nut huggers here think is great. He wins the Louie Roberts award, so that makes him something.

When I at DCC he was hanging out, looking for backers, then dumping them.

But he won the Louie Roberts Award.

That old Fred, he sure can pick em......

Pool players told me this was the nutz.............

I won't say the name but a pool player I know told me this was the dead nutz.

I was kind of wondering because I saw this player in a town and I knew he was dead broke and now where to get pumped back up.

Stealing from coin machines like this carries a stiff penalty, like a felony I think.

They will definitely get some jail time.

Is it worth trading a year or 2 of your life for some money?

You'ld think not while you are sitting out the time.

A young man I had with me a while ago had a friend of his rig up a dollar bill for him to practice with. Then when you get good at it you can use a $20 for the real deal.

needless to say I was not too interested in this adventure and showed some curiousity about how this worked but I would never do it. The penalty would be too strong. At 60 years old I can't trade any of my years that I have left for a little money.

Not even allot of money.

I hope my young friend threw the darn thing away.

We live and learn, Some people it just takes a little more time and consequences to figure it out.

Good luck to these guys. They're going to need it.

You wouldnt believe the pool players that were out on the road, with a Rake and pressure, 7 pin, 8 pin and 9 pins and all the number codes.

Its no secret anymore, the police know whats going on as does the venders.

Its a very tough living out there now, with all the new technology, as in cameras as small as a fingertip.

This was a very good scam for a very long time, so get out while you can boys, times have changed!

Do these charges carry any jail time? Hate it for them but actions have consequences and if I was the one getting robbed I'd prosecute.

Felonies are minimum 1 year. I'm surprised about the felony status of these charges. Is it because it's using fake money, sort of like counterfeiting?

The charge has to do with the amount of the theft. I believe anything over $499.99 goes from a misdemeanor to a felony. I am no legal expert, but they might be able plea down to a misdemeanor depending on the strength of the case against them and the willingness of the state to go to trial. Either way, it is a shame.

if they have clean records they will plead it down to a gross misdomenier if they are lucky.

This show how little action there is out there, when you got to start stealing quarters times are rough....
