That's a cute cat pic, ummmm
Balls.....a meme or YouTube video goes viral because it interests someone.
You can not create interest just by placing a meme about pool being in the Olympics.
it's Ball. lol thanks, you're making my Great-great-grandmother happy.
"You People" already did! You folks put hard to miss pool tables in homes everywhere.
I ran my own impromptu focus group for about a year. the results are easy and off the top of my head.
out of every 100 people surveyed
Males
There was one pool player. He's the guy that always wins the money from group 2, his male friends, acquaintances, etc.
Group 2 participates, and like most guys says he knows how to play pool when in fact we all know it's nice to see him hold the "stick" right while we beat him at the table and talk like a couple of hens on the sidewalk.
Group 3. Same as females
Females
My grandfather or father or one of my friends had a pool table and we used to play on it but nobody ever showed us how to make a proper bridge or stroke. They would be interested in playing if the opportunity presented itself. Like if their friends wanted to go or a date.
the remaining people that didn't have pool thoughts in their life was tiny. It was actually odd if they didn't have a pool story.
In conclusion. The seeds have been planted and are waiting for water. Millions of people have a story and would support this community and the petition. The better question is how many will actually take the time to sign it.
The meme or video has to be interesting or fun or controversial or something to get people to watch it and spread it.
doh!
Trick shots are fun, interesting and, sometimes maybe when you have a shoe between your legs, a little scary.
For example, I'm willing to bet there are some funny outtakes from Venom, some of which models and his wife are getting popped in the head with a cue ball, etc, which could have a caption added like. "You don't have to take a ball to the head to make your husband happy, just sign the petition".
I'm going to contact him again anyways and I will also direct him here. Looks like a happy guy so I'm guessing he would help out.
Not to infer that this single post concept will change.org the world. Actually, you all can post things.
You could have the number one “web influencer” promote Billiards and it still would not click unless it does something to people’s base needs or emotions.
Now...a cat playing pool video would most likely get some views, but that may not translate to people wanting to rush out, look for their nearest pool hall, buy a cue and start playing weekly!
It's about want. They want to have fun. They want to help a charity, they want to help get to the Olympics
and weekly is a league concept which is your problem when they get to your pool hall.
I want a few million people to play pool once a year.
The League pitch is on you folks.
