Single elimination I assume and race to ____????

I don't know. Do you have any suggestions ?

Actually, Eric asked me to put it together today. I'm thinking a race to 4W/3L on the bar boxes double elim of course. If we get the full 32 how about 3/2.

What do you think ?

Terrie and I will be getting in there a little early on Friday so Terrie is going to run it while I play. She's the TD maybe we should ask her wht she plans on doing?

Mj

fasteddienc, when you get a chance view this and throw some ideas out there for me.

short races/dbl. or long races/sgl.

Personally I would rather play single elimination races to 7 and be done with it. Even the winner bracket races are rather short and it's not much difference that a coin toss on a bar table.

Maybe let the players decide and see what they say but I think most will agree that short races on a bar table aren't much fun but it does allow everyone a chance to win.

Hey Eddie! This is Eric from Shooters.

I hear what you're sayin'. The reason Mike and I decided to do this on the bar boxes is that we've got 10 tables that (should) all play the same. Tournament rules aside, at least the equipment will be fair.

I hope to see you here this weekend!

eric

ps, BUMP!

Sorry, my reading comprehension skills are crap at 2:20am. I didn't follow the whole conversation. Whatever y'all decide to do for the Mini is just fine by me.

3 events in 1 this weekend!

A timely bump as the mini begins tonight, and the big'un tomorrow.

Looking forward to it! See ya there.
