I was glad to see Shannon Dalton was still in it
last I heard

Shannon seems to still be a top player,but not one you hear as much about


I remember meeting him at age 12,he came into Rustys pool room in Dallas with his dad
Shannon was wearing high top tennis shoes and socks halfway to his knees
smoking and salty as as a dog,played sporty even then

His daddy was a sucker and Shannon was tough action even for a kid,smart as they come,I remember he was playinf one pocket and two games in a row his opponent left him up table in the jaws with a ball on the spot,Shannon slow rolled the back cut into his hole for the money

I knew I would never be a player right then and there


I hope he wins the tournament

Daulton is the only one with a buyback left

He runs his tour (I think the GSBT is still around) and I heard him say on the stream the other night that he's a dad now, but you better believe that when the Derby rolls around you're going to see Shannon's name on the board deep into the one pocket, banks or both.

Kiamco's been around for what seems like forever, and somehow seems to pop-up everywhere. (I never saw any signs of sponsorship until that Tiger shirt.)

Easily one of the most consistently overlooked players on Earth.

Deluna runs out or THINKS he runs out and starts to rake the balls. Wrong count. After minutes of listening to a Tagalaog conversation and watching officials mull it over, the balls replace, the game resumed. :eek:

Daulton vs Bergman up next..if Berg loses we are down to final 3, if Berg wins we still have 4 remaining and then a true semi final with no bye round on the way.

I like Berg and Shannon so hard to pick a favorite there, but a true semi-final with no bye would be nice.
