Why? Because he's the self-proclaimed Idiot Police. Maybe you should ask him how many posts you should have and how long you need to have been here before you can express an opinion on matters such as this.
You certainly can't be wise enough to realize that there's years of threads on here you could read (with the exception of a some deleted ones) to be up to speed on how this site is moderated.

If i was moderator, all the bs would stop and this place would run a lot smoother. The instigators would hate me but I could live with that.

I don't "know" anybody. I just read the word "banned" under his username, and since he was posting on this thread this morning, stands to reason he got banned sometime during the evolvement of this thread.

in all reality, in a culture as diverse as this, its a nearly impossible task to make everyone truly happy.
simple solution: praise the positive and ignore or delete the rest.
that said, i think that "calling out" mr. wilson because of your personal perception of how well he is doing, is tacky. and the way you phrased it, was actually a bit rude as well.

Folks will learn sooner or later if you don't like the game, don't play. If you decide to play, the STFU about the way it's played. I don't know Mr.Wilson from Mr. Smith, but what I do know is you don't start shit with the boss, if you want to keep your spot.
The Dr. has been progressivly starting shit with every one around here for a while. Looks like he picked a good one this time...

One thing I notice, is how many lately have -- if I may borrow Justin Collett's words -- "going full retard" on here.
I don't know if it's the fact folks are taking this whole Dec. 21st 2012 supposed-apocalypse thing way too seriously (e.g. "party like it's 1999"), or if there were an unusual number of full moons in a single month (month of November), or what-have-you.
But yes, the mods here do a great job for a place that hosts a potential of over 41,000 members. Do they need help? Possibly -- it's a big job, for sure, and probably looks uneven-handed at times.
The trick is not to flip out when you see an instance of unevenhandedness. It happens, and there's nothing you can do about it, except your normal "duty" (privilege, actually) of reporting posts.
Remember, this is not a public place. It's a private forum that is open to the public -- a privilege -- with a posted set of rules. Break them, and you can scream about freedom of speech all you want, you'll suffer the consequences.

Sorry, I guess I do that for those that are relatively new to the game & because I do place some value on experience as I stole my game from a very old gentleman. I'll try to temper that and rephrase it.
