AZ needs a new moderator!

Being a thankless job and all the other bs you guys come up with is no excuse for being this poor at ones job.

A moderator should be fair and consistent, never showing favoritism. Never deleting posts or threads to help friends from being banned and then coming after other member for much less serious offenses. This has gone on for far too long!

It is clear by his actions over the years that Wilson is just not capable of doing his job correctly and I think it's time something is done about it.

Jerry, enough is enough! Get someone who will do the job right please

Oh and I agree that AZ could use a couple new moderators. Because you know with 41,000 guests you need a few more people to attend them.......

In post 30 of this thread is the only proof left that jhanso18 or whatever his name is, was saved by a moderator instead of being banned for talking about sucking ****. I used the word idiot and received a warning. Now let's get real here. What is really offensive?

Same moderator allowed Kevin Varney to threaten members of this site's lives, scam them out of money, lie to them repeatedly, and then go in and delete the proof! We even called him out on it and nothing was ever done about it.

This site could be great if this kind of stuff didn't go on, but ownership needs to step up and fix the main problem. Poor Moderation!

Regardless of our opinions, we should always show respect to our leader. Trust in all that he says, obey the regulations and ordinances that he sets forth. Just as we pledge allegiance to our flag, and choose not to disgrace it, so we also pledge our allegiance to the leaders here at AZBilliards.

Yeah but at least we get to vote for a leader every 4 years. Mr. Wilson has shown very clear favoritism over the years...

I will have no part in an AZBilliards revolution. My loyalties remain with the current administration, and I will not move.

I agree that we need better moderating by someone or anyone for that matter. Just look around and you will see rules that are never enforced, rules being broken with no repercussions and behavior that warrants banning being completely ignored. One other issue when you report an offensive post why isn't the issue ever addressed? Things are getting out of control and many long term posters are now just reading and no longer participating as a result. I remember the forums before mods were installed and there were times it was out of control, now it has grown and it's time for better and more effective, unbiased moderating. I don't believe it is one mod or the other just the overall moderating that is at fault. JMO,,, b4 the thread mysteriously disappears!

You have shown a high degree of disrespect to a fellow member. I can handle it. I am just glad it didn't happen to someone who can't handle it so well.

Hate to say this and this is something I've had to understand and accept. This ain't my house therefore they ain't my rules.

Participation on this site is all voluntary. You either accept the way it is or not.

And like life where you are getting a speeding ticket as everyone is speeding by you, it just not fair at times.

The real question is how much time and energy are you willing to waste on something that really doesn't matter.
