I have noticed as I watch Snooker events via Livesport.tv here in the extreme early morning hours of Southern Oregon, USA that the condition of the tips on some players cues appears to be totally atrocious. I have seen players tips that look more like the shape of a mushroom cloud than a proper shaped tip that would be found on a regular pool cue by a pool player here in the states.
And I have to wonder why this seems to be the case. Do snooker players not need to care and shape their tips regularly? What is up with this situation?
