Hello Members..
Before I bought a CNC Machine, I was using only 3 basic Machines.
a mini Lathe, Mini Mill, and, a 99 dollar Band Saw.

Those were the "Dark Ages" of Cue Caps..
Before the (CNC) Reniassance...

Here are some of my earlier Cue Caps I made.

Gina Cue Cap

Here is one of my favorite Cue Cap that I made...
I used only a Mini Lathe ( 9 x 20 ) , mini Milling machine, and, Band saw.
Everybody..
Can you "Reverse Engeneer" this Cap?
Just to test your knowledge and skills.
See if you know which processes had to be done, and,
what order it had to be done in..
Note: I think the Late, Great Collector Steve Piesner had this cue.
The Gina Cue (That this cap went to) was made for a Califirnia Movie Exc.
mmm. I know who, I just forgot his name.. No disrespect to him..
I will add it when I find out.

Very cool, thanks for showing these!:thumbup::thumbup:

I was recently going through your web site. I started out on Tikkler's Photobucket page and ended up on yours.

Beautiful work. Really shows how much can be done with relatively simple tools in talented hands.

Very impressive.
So glad I have a couple of your designs in my collection.
Tough to say which is a favorite as they all are exceptional.
Hope you are well.

Anyone that can build a protector set that included a real functioning spinner in the butt protector,
well, that person is just too darn hard to describe...talented, creative, innovative, imaginative and
never been done before and if so, surely not as precisely and artistically as Altion recently created.

Alton, you're like Derek Jeter....One of a kind & the best to ever perform in your line of work. Nuf Ced!
Thanks for sharing your early period work; from the outset, you distinguished yourself from others.

My Late Personal Cue

Hello Forum,
Thank You all.. for posting and viewing.
Thank You guys, for posting those kind words..
Love you all... :)
I have to stop adding post here, as, when I come on to Thank You,
I am "re Bumping" this post to the top, over and over.
So, I got to stop adding to this.
No disrespect to anyone.

So, since I'm here, this is my "Late" personal Cue I made.
I bought a Ebony Full Spliced Blank butt, from Eric at ATLAS Billiard Supply.
and, a 30 dollar "3rd Cut" blank shaft.
Added all the stuff need to complete the cue.
I was a "Cue Customizer", not "Cue Maker". ;)

Once again, Thank You all for viewing..
