Local South Jersey pool groups

Does anyone in the area know of pool groups where people get together and practice and learn from each other? I'm in the APA, so all though fun not a good practice environment, because you never know if your opponent is shooting their full speed. So, when I win I am always questioning. I am a SL 3 in 9 ball.

It might help if you narrow down to where in So Jersey?

I would say, if you can find a "good" pool player that is willing to help with your game, that might be your best bet. One idea is if you can get on a team with the league's best player on it, maybe that person would become a friend/mentor?
