Capelle on 9 ball question

I am getting started on the book. It seems like it is going to be a good read. He says something about using donuts from the binders of notebook paper or something to mark the position of the balls in order to practice a certain shot. I have often thought you would need something to mark them with, but I have no idea what he is referring to.

Any ideas?

Paper Reinforcements

They are office supplies. Google for "paper reinforcements".

I've used these off and on for years. I even used them in the pool room on Sunday nights practicing. They don't hurt the cloth and are great for setting up shots over and over. You can probably find them in the stationary department at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

I use them and found that leaving them on for a period of time will leave the sticky residue. There were certain shots that I constantly practice. So i left them on. I now remove them after a session.
