I have a brand new never chalked OB 108-CW with an OB Classic Shaft. I received the cue from Seyberts on Wednesday but in the meantime found something else I prefer.
The butt is curly maple with a cocobolo handle and a white joint.
Both the butt and the shaft are extremely straight. The cue is pretty much perfect as far as I can tell. The only minor thing I see is a very slight sugar line in the forearm (middle left of second picture) but it's pretty minor.
Specs:
Butt: 14.3oz (no weight bolt currently, but threaded for one)
Shaft: 4.1oz , 12.77 at the ferule.
So what's the Canadian Special about? Basically, I have two options: I can return the cue to the retailer and get a refund minus shipping and duty, or I can sell it to another Canadian on here that's looking for an OB and save them the duty/tax and shipping from having to buy it from the states.. It works out the same for me.
All that to say, I'm offering this up for the exact same price I purchased it for: $368 (but throwing in free shipping and the joint protectors).
Canadian AZers: This should save you about $60.
American AZers: you'll get the exact same price from seyberts.
I'll leave this thread open for a couple of days in case anyone is interested, otherwise I'll return it to the retailer.
