Ivory? - 02-09-2019, 05:21 AM

I am surprised to hear that Dave used ivory ferrules, due to Dave being a student of the late great Dennis Dieckman and Dennisís total refusal to have anything to do with Ivory. Just an observation

You can count on one hand the few I've done over the last 20 years plus. So if you see one and like this kind of thing it's rarity from me. You are correct...Dennis was very adamant in his beliefs about the material. But if everyone did exactly as one of their teacher's path, the world would be a very redundant place and the copy cats brains would melt into a puddle of mush never experiencing or creating anything different.
