Jimmy Fusco

I really like him...I just have bought too many tapes where an hour goes buy with him forgetting a scratch, or talking about the balls looking like snooker balls.

He truly was a great player, I would just prefer guys like Freddie B, Fusco, or other old school 1-P specialists doing the commentary instead of a straight pool player who doesn't really seem to know some of the little details of the game.

Too bad guys like Steve Cook, Bugs, Allen Hopkins, Fusco have either passed away or don't get a chance to do more 1-P commentary.

Bud, just wanted to let you know that Jimmy Fusco is doing well! He came down to my home room and did an exhibition just before Christmas. Jimmy is 65 and still plays well. Thought you would want to know.

I think Danny is slipping a good deal. The ball colors he has had trouble with all week, they should have a set in the booth so they know which are which. He also has been calling shots for the wrong pocket several times along with confusing the players names. I do not know how view point and if it is just the camera angles but he will call a shot that has no chance of going and I mean not physically possible.

I have the utmost respect for Danny. And it truly pains me to say, after listening to many, many hours of commentary this last week - I agree Lenny.

Thanks for the updates Greg.

The table seems to have a belly. The balls come off of both long rails. They have been going around and around with machinists levels and Efren and Shannon have been slow rolling balls down the rails. Have not seen them make any adjustments but they have sure eyeballed it though. Anyhow both players seem to be familiar with the rolls to each pocket.

If Daulton wins this, he will be the first person to win all three basic DCC disciplines -- Banks, One-Pocket, and 9-Ball. (Reyes has never won Banks.)

Shannon just broke, Efren returned and now Shannon has a good scoring opportunity after Efren sold out his second shot.
