Here is a very Rare Art Cantando cue. This was Art's 6th cue ever made..
This cue has 8 points of Cocobolo with 3 veneers (Blk,Grn,Purp)
Ivory Diamonds with Abalone centers.
Wildwood Boxes. Also Ivory and Abalone rings.
Lizzard wrap.
ALSO has an engraved butt screw with AC-6, which is only done on the first 10 cues..
Here is the funny story that goes with this cue.
I bring the cue down to Art wanting him to engrave AC in the buttcap.
He looks at the cue and says " I didn't make this cue"
I don't make points that way, and It has 3 veneers. And on and on he goes..
He starts to look at the cue and takes the bumper off.. Then he says Son of a *****. This was the 6th cue I ever made. Art had sent out the butt screws to be engraved with AC and the number of the cue. This was just done on the FIRST 10 CUES he built.
He proceeds to say.. OH I remember this cue now..lol..
We called Barry from his shop so I could break his ball's about getting old and forgetting crap..
This cue is in pristine condition.
