I just seen the news that a banana taped to a wall with duct tape, sold for $100,000 at auction. It was considered to be a rare work of art.

Anything Campbell is good

Campbell of Canada made a good golf club when I was a kid.

First glass-shaft driver I hit was a Campbell...
...they made irons called punch irons....ahead of their time.

Did you tell them how much you appreciated the modification, making it a three piece work of art?
Seriously, was that one of your, expensive custom cues?

I bought this cue at DCC for $400, knowing nothing about the cue maker. I just liked the way it felt and played. I used it for the next five years and did pretty well with it (2010-15). After it got broken I haven't played much pool any more.

effing gorgeous. i would be livid. how was it packed?

It was well packed, in a hard case that was inside a larger cue bag stuffed with clothes. It did not come down with the regular baggage and I had to find it outside the office for Spirit, just laying there by itself. I was so glad to find it that I just took it home without checking anything. When I opened the bag and took out my cue there it was in two pieces. I was sick! The hard case it was in was totally undamaged, not a nick on it. Someone had to do this deliberately. I've never flown Spirit again since this happened.
