Women players at the Qatar 9ball World Championship

while watching the qatar stream my wife asked "are there any women players" ?

i checked the player list and noticed there weren't any women listed.

my question is, are they allowed to enter ?

I don't believe the women are allowed to enter because they have their own WPA 9 Ball World Championship with a $40,000 first prize, and men aren't allowed to enter.

The Women's WPA World 9-ball Championship was contested just a couple of weeks ago and was won by Kelly Fisher.
