converted about 2009/10 by Waynes Holmes
cue section: 29 inches, textured black leather, ivory hoppe ring, black butt cap, rubber bumper, stainless steel flat faced joint with radial pen, ivory and black band below joint, 15.6 ounce, signed by Wayne.
shafts: 29 inches each, 3.6 and 3.8 ounce, black and ivory bands, ivory ferrule, 12.7mm each.
Rolls flat. Excellent plus condition player cue.
Wayne stated to me that he converted very few titlist cues over the years due to the rising cost of the cues and the condition as found. He further said the dark wood is either granadillio or lapacho in this cue.
I was very lucky to obtain this cue and able to communicate with Wayne several times, he had a vast knowledge of cue making, either doing short or long splices. Not long after he retired Wayne passed away, billiards lost another great maker/person.
