Help with josswest cue

I picked this josswest cue up. The maker mark looks a little diffrent. Are they faked dose this one look legit I've been looking at a lot of early josswest cues and all the marks don't look identical but similar just a little info on this cue would help me thanks

Bill Stroud did these by hand with an exacto knife. It's quite possible to find small differences from one to another.

its a jw. it is one of his least expensive models and unlikely anyone would waste time trying to make it something it isnt.

Looks legit to me. As was said, these markings were done by hand so there is some variation.

Looks like the wrap was replaced. Nice cue, should be a nice player.

Thanks for the advice and help it hits great I'm going to send it to proficient billiards to get it refinished.
