Who the heck is that Darren Appleton guy. He's a great shot but sounds fruity to me. 🤣🤣🤣 Gonna try and break 17 racks before the new year, won't do it in 30 minutes but it will still be an accomplishment.

Thanks :D Gonna try and get into double digits this weekend.

As we all know, after a person reaches a certain level of play all that matters is:

Racking
Breaking

All the stuff that happens after they rack and break matters much, much less.

Especially with 9 ball, template and 1 on spot.... a good player racks, breaks ands it's a wrap...

It kills me when someone points out pattern racking in amateur play....all the while EVERY professional player from the lowest to the elite does the exact same thing, but nobody says anything about them other than:

Did you see that???

Lol

Good job sir!

I can't wait to get back 100%.

Back surgeries, heart and blood pressure issues are killing my game.

I'm to the point I can't even rack, much less break correctly.

On the other hand, if I just throw 9 or 10 balls out, I can usually run em...then.....to the couch for a break of another kind.....

I'm glad to see someone can still play the game.

Again, good job!!!!

I gave the 9-ball ghost a try last night and had the ghost down 6-1, but then I got jitters and gave easy ones 2 back. Ended up at 7-3. I decided to finished out a set to 9, but the next 2 games were mental giveaways as I was already "finished" getting to 7. I buckled down at the end finished 9-5.

Diamond Professional, pro-cut pockets. Simonis 860.

I feel for ya brother. I can't imagine loving a sport and unable to perform at your full potential. I pray that one day you can play without physical abilities holding you back.

So I tried speed pool shooting 9-Ball. Set my timer on my phone for 30 minutes and ran as many racks as I could before the alarm went off. If I missed a shot during a run I re-racked and kept going. I beat the ghost 13-5 before time ran out. I think I can come close to Darren Appleton's 17 runs in 30 minutes if I don't miss a shot. Here is the link, hope you enjoy.

Let's just say that in the 6-ball challenge the 1, 2, 3 and 4 balls are seeing a lot of action. Five and 6, um, not so much. :(
