Win or lose...they'd all get writer's cramp from signing autographs...
...these guys were showmen....

...and there is not enough people in this world to shark them......
...they could play for high stakes in crowded rooms.....
...surrounded by gamblers betting either way....
...that space around the table at the Mosconi is luxury.

I am assuming the Mosconi Cup rules state only men can play, but if anybody can play on the team here is my list of women: Maybe a little distraction can help Team USA win.

Captain: Ewa Lawrence
Anastasia Luppova
Jasmin "Jassy" Ouschan
Jennifer Baretta

Rempe and not Buddy Hall? In their prime Rempe needed weight playing 9ball for serious cash.

Buddy, Lassiter, Earl, Strickland and Sigel. HowdyDoodie could captain that team.

Not sure who I'd bump, but I'd have to throw out one on your list and put Harold Worst in.

Yes !!! Man, Keith McCready was a monster. Too bad you don't have players like him in the U.S.

Django and Keith are my favorite players.

No Keith McCready for me. He wouldn't have been good in this format. He's more of a Jayson Shaw type of gunslinger. Grinders are better suited for the Cup. Which is why I would leave the arguably best 9 baller of all time off my list too -- Strickland.

Varner
Hall
Sigel
Archer
Mizerack

One of Keith's best games is scotch doubles. Ask Marcus Chamat. ;)

For those leaving out Lassiter, I've heard more than a few suggest he was the best nine ball player of all time.
