Who Gets to Vote:
Who is Eligible for the Award
Where and How to Vote:
Seek me out at the Derby City Classic ( I arrive Tuesday Jan 28th for the remainder of the week)
or
Send vote(s) to -
LouieRobertsAE@gmail.com (Please be sure to write your Forum Name and when you attended the Derby City Classic)
As a modification - send (or tell) as many names as you want. This would be similar to Hall of Fame balloting. For example, if you can't decide whether one guy or another should get your vote, send both if you want. This is a change from the previous MVP-style voting (Borda counting with voter rating). The committee is trying to keep things simpler. If you think five people deserve to be mentioned, send five names.
Voting Closing and Announcement
Midnight Tuesday Feb 5th. - Voting will Close So if you plan on emailing, email quickly. Announcement will be made the following day (unless the committee is awake).
The award had been announced a week after in previous years, but by then nobody was thinking much about it. If the award could be announced by the end of the DCC, that would be cool but unrealistic.
Any questions, concerns or clarications, please email to
LouieRobertsAE@gmail.com
