WPBA tour schedule

I know the women are playing Soaring Eagle this weekend. I am unable to attend, but interested in future events. It is difficult to find a schedule. The WPBA website shows a select few, but not many. Where should I be looking?

1600 views and no recommendations?

I believe the WPBA only holds three events each year : RTC (Regional Tour Championships) in mid-January, Soaring Eagle in late January and Rivers Open in mid-April. You can see the dates on their web site.

WPBA dead???????????????

When did the WPBA hit the skids? Haven't followed it in a while and a check of the site shows ONE event for the whole year. What happened?

There seemingly is a resurgence in pool events yet the WPBA seems to be unaffected by it. Their website has been down for improvements for at least 6 weeks-probably a lot longer.

I think i heard M Kenniston say there will be another event this year or it could have been a dream-not sure.

The Women’s Professional Billiard Association is excited to announce the 1st Signature Tour Stop of 2018. Emerald Billiards, located at 2511 Old W. Spanish Trail; New Iberia, LA, will be hosting the 64-player event with a guaranteed purse of $29,000. A field of 64 elite players will travel from all over the world for a shot at the title & the top prize of $5,500.

This is just so sad..Travel from all over the world for a shot at $5k? Entry is $500 i presume.-maybe not, it is a 3 day 50% points tourny being held in a pool room. Looks like they are relying on Jeanette to drum up some interest with an exhibition the night before it starts.

I was told by a WPBA member that they were made to commit to this tourny before they knew it was 1/2 points, held in a pool room etc She told me she NEVER would have been in the event otherwise.

The entry fee was $250

6/22-24 with Jeanette Lee exhibition 6/21
